3.Service of Process and Formal Notices
Service of process and formal legal notices must be delivered to the mailing address above, addressed to “Legal Department” or to Hardline’s registered agent for service of process in Delaware. Hardline’s registered agent information is available from the Delaware Division of Corporations at icis.corp.delaware.gov.
Email is acceptable for routine pre-litigation correspondence and for the pre-arbitration Notice of Dispute required by Terms § 15.8, but is not a substitute for service of process.
4.Response Times
- Routine support inquiries: 2 business days.
- Privacy-rights requests: confirmation within 10 business days; substantive response within 45 days (extendable by 45 days for complex matters with notice).
- Security incident reports: acknowledgment within 24 hours.
- Coordinated vulnerability disclosure: acknowledgment within 5 business days.
- Arbitration Notice of Dispute: 10 business days to acknowledge and designate a negotiation contact; 60 days for good-faith resolution attempt.
- DMCA notices: action and acknowledgment within 10 business days.
